I saw an episode of Dr Oz a few weeks ago
Avoid any advice following this phrase
Right on.
It really depends on your activity level. I like his show. And I could also say the same about some of the advice I see on these boards. It all depends on what works for you. It was a guest Dr. talking about it by the way. I can't think of his name but he has a lot of specialson PBS.
I don't have a desk job, I don't spend my mornings watching TV. If I don't eat a decent breakfast I get sick while working. Some people eat more for snacks than I do for breakfast because they are bigger and need more calories. Someone smaller than me might consider my daily food intake huge.
I consider food like fuel. I add the most when I'm going to be doing the most. I do a lot of walking outside in the day and have to consume most of my protein and calories before. From experience, I know if I don't hunger will hit and I will get dizzy and feel bad.
I think a big breakfast is different for everyone. Some of the examples people have posted seem huge to me.0
