where's the video camera when you could possibly be up for America's Funniest home-video:sad:

It was humiliating but I always laugh hysterically when I am humiliated so maybe people thought I was having fun:blushing: Rowing a raft is HARD. Who would have guessed, I thought you just got in a rowed! I am so glad there were not any boats on the river today. One came by just as I was dragging the raft and myself out of the water:embarrassed:

So I am supposed to be ready for this Pepsi Float on Saturday and I think an inner tube will do me fine:laugh: :drinker: :drinker:

Nah, I'm not given up on rowing though, I love the water and I will learn eventually but I am thinking a kayak will be more my speed than a 6 man raft, LOL! Duh!

Oh my goodness - you are hardcore lady!! Sounds as if you had fun even if it was hard :-)

Good on you for getting out there and giving it a try - and yes - it does sound as if a inner tube might be better (especially if there are lots of other people on the water :-)

If I was closer I would have come help you row that raft ...

I love this! Tomorrow I take a stand up paddleboarding lesson. I am sure I will be quite a sight as well!

Please forgive the stupid question -- I've never seen one of these inflatable rafts firsthand -- but do you row it, or do you paddle it?

Also, is this a one-person craft, or will you have teammates?

"Inquiring minds want to know" -- why, I don't know. :-)

I'll go you one better, what's the dif between a row and a paddle, LOL?? It's at least a 2 person raft, blow up type. I just don't know how to do it is all, LOL!! HELP!! I will NOT be going down in it alone if I take it. If I don't find a team mate I will use an inner tube, :drinker: :drinker:
