What does height have to do with it? As long as they are proportionate, I don't see the problem.

Couldnt you just stuff your bra to see what you would look like? Take pics from the front and side, then comapre.

well, I'm not under 5ft, BUT I have a friend who is about 5' or 5'1 and a C cup. She doesn't look fat AT ALL, in fact it kinda makes her waist look even SMALLER!

Your proportions are great! why change it? I think in your case, it may make you look heavier.

I scanned your photo's. You don't LOOK like an A cup... you look well-proportioned as it is. I would vote on the no side on getting a boob job..

I agree and you're a beautiful girl. They're a lot of pain and can hinder workouts. My friend Colleen popped several from working out. She just got DX'ed with breast cancer too (she's only 37 and no family history) and has had nothing but problems with them. I'm a barely B and I'm happy with that...I have several friends who have back and shoulder problems b/c of them so please consider all the risks and side effects!

...I agree you do look proportioned...but If you chose to get them I wouldnt go above a large B..small C...Small small C at that.

I think it would actually depend on the size of your ribcage. As long as you're proportionate, it shouldn't be a problem.

just saying, big boobs aren't really the most important thing in the world Lol a boob job IS a big decision. if padded bras boost your confidence, why not just stick with them?

(from a girl who is a DD, sometimes they are just trouble. trying to buy shirts with big boobs and a small waist can be a PAIN!)

I am 5'2" and have implants, i am a J cup and i do not look fat at all! its all about the way you dress yourself... if you wear baggy clothing, yes you will look fat weather you are an A cup or like me a J cup... but if you wear clothing that looks flattering on your curves you will not look fat in anyway!

as someone who has had large breasts (DDD) i can tell you, I would do anything for an A cup size breast. Figured i would throw that out there =)

i had a breast reduction in 1986 and it was one of the smartest things i have ever done. i am 5 feet tall. i always thought that larger breasts made me look matronly.

I'm 5'2, hourglass figure, and a full D cup, so I'm just going to list the pros and cons I can think of:

    CONS
-constant lower back pain whenever I'm sitting up
-loose clothes make me look larger than I really am
-stretch marks ... sad but true
-less options at lingerie stores, because anything that adds cups sizes looks ridiculous on me
-feeling self conscious in a bikini because of their size
-pain while running (sometimes I have to wear two sports bras for support)
-due to the above, my runs are often cut short
-anything low cut instantly looks risque (I tend to be pretty modest, so this limits my clothing choices), whereas a smaller chested woman could wear the same thing and look great

    PROS
    -boyfriend likes em
    -that's about it

I don't mean to be a debbie downer, but I really think you should stick with what you've got! After all, you can always add a little va-va-voom with a padded bra when needed. I actually tried to get a reduction a few years ago, but insurance wouldn't cover it even though I also wanted it for health concerns. Now looking back I'm glad I didn't get the reduction. I aspire to be the sort of woman who is confident in her own skin, but I am SO self conscious of my chest. Good luck to you, and I hope you figure out what's best for you!

Why get a boob job, you look fine (even if you're stuffing your bra). Why get cut into unnecessarily?

Going up one cup size won't make you look fat.. You should get your breasts enhanced for yourself, don't do it for anyone else, if you are seriously considering getting one. I'm rescheduling my breast augmentation in August, I am a 34b cup, but I am 5'8 and 137 lbs even though I look like 125. I think a breast implants forum can help you make a decision :)

Well I'm not petite, I'm 5' 8" and had augmentation in 2000, when I was 40 years old. I went from a A to a small D because my tall, slim stature could support it. One very important thing to remember is they are only at their optimal for 10 years and then NEED to be replaced. Mine are now 12 years old and definitely need work, one is much larger than the other and makes the fit and look of clothing awkward at the least. Right now money is a huge factor in not have them replaced.

With that being said I would still do it all over again knowing what I know now.

I'm 5 foot even and will totally get one when I finish school. Just my choice, I felt more comfortable about the girls when I was heavier and had them rather than when I was skinny and hardley had them, so I know the difference in how having a certain size breasts affects me mentally.

You look completely gorgeous as you are -- you are a lovely lovely young woman. The padded bra is working for you. And while it may be great to have boobs that big without using padding, keep in mind that fake boobs feel and unfortunately look... fake. I say keep 'em natural and use padding as needed.

P.S. -- Surgery sucks; don't let anyone tell you it doesn't.
P.P.S. -- AND if you really really want them, the great thing is that it's completely your choice. There are many women who have augmentation and are very very happy with it. Feel supported and comfortable no matter what you choose. It's your body -- no one else's.

ok, here is my op and some facts. I got implants when I was 17 (now 33) due to a HUGE (over 100 pounds) wt loss and too much skin, asymmetry ect. I am 5'7 and have C's, They look good on me. Honestly I think at your height C's would be too big and look fake. Surgery is a huge deal and will have you out of heavy lifting/workouts for about 2 1/2 - 3mo's. However you DO NOT "NEED" to have them redone after 10 years. That is an old wives tale or surgeons wanting to make an extra buck or thousands. If you get a good surgeon you shouldn't have any problems with them popping ect. Do your research so you know what to expect. Take time finding a Dr. and most importantly do what YOU want to do, no one else! Good luck!! Also you look kick *kitten* now for my 2 cents!

hahahah thanks for the support (no pun intended!)!

I revisited the thread to add a few more thoughts - I didn't mean to sound like a prude or say that looking sexy is a bad thing - it definitely ISN'T! But for me, looking sexy has a time and place, and that place is not the office, church, dinner with my boyfriend's parents, etc. :blushing:

I honestly think that my large chest is what has made me a relatively modest dresser - I am always drawn to low cut items in theory, but end up purchasing more coverage because I'm self conscious. like they say, the grass is always greener on the other side.

i have to totally disagree with this statement. have you ever felt implants before?... The reason why there is such thing as silicone implants is so that women can have breasts that look and feel completely natural! the silicone is made to feel and look this way. It is such a crock when people who do not have implants say "oh they feel fake!" how would you know how they feel? have you asked a woman with silicone implants if they feel fake?... and yes sometimes women get implant that look fake because thats what they WANT them to look like!

anyways there is different types of implants for how ever you want to look... and how do we know that the OP doesnt want hers to be a little more firm and fake looking?... i think its an insult to all women out there with implants when someone goes a head and says "they are going to look fake!" why do you care what they look like? if the OP wants them to look fake then that is her choice, if she wants them to be more natural looking, just fuller and have more volume there is that option too with implants. All implants do not look or feel the same.

PS i had natural DD's before my surgery and my back never hurt then nor does my back hurt now. I think most people who say they have back problems "THINK" that this is due to their breast being larger but usually it has to do with not having a very strong core. work on your core and your back problems will most likely not be a problem anymore... Also my implants only weigh 3lbs total! there is no way that 3 extra lbs is going to give you back problems.

there are so many misconceptions when it comes to implants, just do your research if its something that you want don't listen to the negativity... boobs are great!!
