Inflammatory posts
Has anyone noticed how it is the smart people that actually know what they are doing that seem to respond to the inflammatory posts that generally knock the people that follow the "Diet-du-jour"?
The people that follow the herd rarely get that irony of ignoring the common sense stuff. Oh Teh Horror
We need some sort of message board darwinism to weed out the weak links LMAO

and how would it help others by doing that? There's enough disagreement among the so-called nutritional experts, no one here knows what will work for you. Start by following the mfp setup and revisit and revise as needed.0

Its all about statistical averages, if it works for 95% of people it will probably work for you, but it might not. The problem is, if it works for CBS ratings and not for you, that's a problem.0 -

Exactly! The "diet experts" and nutritionists can't even seem to agree on everything! Every body is different and you have to play around with it till you find what works for you!0 -

I say pay attention to people who lose weight and ignore the people who don't- if losing weight is your goal. "Expert" or otherwise, results are results. In the end, everyone figures out what works for them and does it their own way anyway. I read so many different opinions when I first started on this site and I don't do it exactly like anyone else. A person who only has 5 lbs to lose probably doesn't have the best advice for someone that has 100 lbs to lose and vice versa. Lifting heavy for some is 15 lb dumb bells and others is a 300 lb bench press. The bullying is stupid and incredibly annoying.0

In a way the losers are weeded away once they wash out, regain the weight and join the masses of failures.
