Weight loss cheats..

I just turned 20 a month ago, I go to the gym every morning, I work out for at least 45 minutes a day, and then I go to work at an office job, I try to eat good, but it is sooo hard!!

I would love to loss about 30kg in the next 6 months!

I would like to learn and hear about how other people have lost weight with supplements, diets or workouts??
I want to hear everything that has helped you reach your goal. Also before and after photos

I also work in an office, and sit at a desk all day for my job. It was hard at first to get used to eating less calories and not pigging out. I switched potato chips for veggies and dip for low fat ranch dressing. I drink a lot of water which helps me from snacking at my desk. You just need to be very motivated. I work out everyday but my workouts are various, I bike, run, speed walk, wii fit, and swim. I have also done the 30DS, two times completely.

I have never done an actual diet, but I stay under my calories and eat much healthier foods than I used to and I'm steadily losing weight. Since July 5th I've lost 5 pounds, and 8 pounds so far total. My body feels so much better since eating cleaner and working out.

I think that logging my food in MFP every day has been one of the most helpful things to keep me on track. I was never much good at just trying to estimate how much I'd eaten in one day and seeing the progress graph is motivating to me. :)

I've mostly been avoiding refined sugar (I don't worry about sugar in fruit too much), bread products, and pasta while eating a lot more fresh produce than before.

I think the first time I logged my food in MFP, I got one mighty kick up the booty! I still don't think I've recovered from the shock. I think that realisation of how badly I was treating my one and only body finally came to attention and I knew I needed to change. So now I log all my foods, spend longer deciding which would be better for me and why for different circumstances (exercising, TOTM, celebrations, etc) and actually have something to challenge me each day - a calorie intake. I definitely think the challenge element helped, I do like it when the game's ON.

I've cut out a lot of foods I'll admit, but I replaced them with healthier options too. And more filling ones! More protein, less fat - probably too high in carbs in some cases, but good carbs mainly! - and I try to get low sugar and sodium too, though sugar is whole new challenge altogether! I can't remember the last time I had a bag of chips (my family were regulars at more than one chippy...), or white bread (most of my old meals, AND snacks), or McDonalds (me and my friends went AT LEAST twice a week!) and yada yada. And ask me six months ago, I wouldn't have ever tried satsumas, cauliflower, spinach, soya milk, peanut butter, tomatoes, vegetable curries or pastas or stir frys, and 8 glasses of water would've seemed alien to me. I guess I've just changed all my habits to better ones, is my point. Sorry for blabbing on, hahaha. :blushing:
