After 5 months and 20lbs I hit a rut. The last 3 to 4 days I haven't followed my diet and did no workouts. Anyone have some motivation tips or ideas for me? ( I have no money so can't go to gym or get new equipment  )

What happened 4 days ago that made you stop doing what you've been doing for the past 5 months? As for not being able to go to the gym, jump roping can be a great exercise.0

I have found that you need to just keep on trying. We are all imperfect and sometimes we succeed at what we are trying to acieve whilst at other times outside circumstances affect us and cause us to fall short of our objectives.
Keep on trying, don't be too hard on yourself and set reasonable goals.0 -

BODYWEIGHT FITNESS! I don't live near any good/affordable gyms either. I've been walking a lot and doing bodyweight fitness routines. Still losing weight, and more importantly, losing inches and feeling much stronger. All without any equipment! Well, maybe some Macguyvered "dumbbells". Google Nerdfitness.
EDIT: I also do jumping jacks/jump rope for cardio. 30 Day Shred (Level I) is also on YouTube for free.0 -
Hi,
Firstly think of what you have achieved so far:flowerforyou: .and these last few days as being a rest on your life journey
mentally you are doing maintainance, just getting your bearings so to speak.
You might need to change things up a bit, get the freshness back. eg Have a look at the workouts on Youtube.or just go walking (fast pace). You feel better after exercise. Its those endorphins!! Best of Luck0 -

It started with a birthday party then the next day I had a bad day with aniexty attacks, after that I just got deflated about missing to days of workouts. I'm going to get a jump rope, it was always fun when I was young . Thanks0
