hey guys just a quick question about my finess pal?

hey guys, i have just joined on my fitness pal and i have entered my goals and stuff and it is all great, just one little thing is that i am aiming for a high protein diet while losing fat so that i don't lose muscle, but on the counter thing for my goals it says i should only eat like 66g of protein a day for my goal, but i need more than that really so is there a way of editing this so that it allows me more protein and less carbs or somthing like that?? thanks for any answers!

    You can change it through My Home -> Goals -> Change Goals and then select "Custom" from there :smile:

    Yes, you can change the percentages of the macros by using the "custom" settings rather than the default one.

    First off, no matter what, you will lose some muscle.
    It can't be helped.
    Nobody reduces weight at 100% fat. Can't happen.

    Your resistance and food intake can minimize that loss - sure!
    I up'd my protein as well for just that reason.
    You can change your macros intake goals, using the "custom" settings rather than the MFP default.
