Splitting exercise sessions?

I like to do an hour of exercise each day, but I find it very hard to do that hour all in one go. I'm a stay at home mum of six, and I homeschool 4 of them so my days are very busy! Will the benefits of exercise still be effective if I split that hour into 2 or 3 sessions? I primarily want to lose weight and fat.
Many thanks.

Research suggests that there is no difference in splitting your sessions throughout the day, especially when it comes to cardio. In fact, you may find it more benificial. If you can do three - 20 minute sessions a day, its a good chance that you can make each session more intense than if you did it for one hour straight.0

I split mine into two or three different sessions during the day. It works for me because otherwise, I wouldn't have the time to focus on getting my whole workout in. Do what works for you.0
