NASCAR NSV!

So I go to the races every year with the same group of people - many of them I only see twice a year. It's been since September since I've seen most of them (started MFP in October) and there were LOTS of NSVs at the track yesterday!
-"Holy crap you look good - what are you doing?" - I heard this many times!
- Ran up and down the grandstand stairs a zillion times (once carrying a cooler that had to weigh 40 lbs)
- Walked MILES without feeling the least bit tired
- The heat didn't bother me at all (90+ degrees outside, must have been 110 in the track)
- One of my good friends, who lives way up in the mountains and I don't see over the winter, took me aside and hugged me and told me how proud of me she was (she had faced a similar challenge a few years ago)
- Drank about 2 gallons of water instead of beer and didn't feel gross from too much heat/booze - and no one gave me crap for not drinking!
- Brought a veggie/cheese tray and stuck to eating from it (everybody else ate the veggies too which surprised me - I think they were all grateful for the break from sausages and burgers)
Congratulations to Kasey Kane - not a very exciting race, but a good win for him!

I was at the same race with my Dad! LOL Good job on the NSVs! It was definitely hot out there.
I was pleased that I didn't get winded at all walking to and from our car, and I did have a cheeseburger at the track, but that was it for junk food - no fries, ice cream or any other treats.0
