Good morning ladies~!

Sorry for the constant drop-off-the-face-of -the-Earth thing I have going.

I just keep gettin burried!. I even come in to work at 5:45am, but to get stuff done before all of my coworkers are in to bother me... but I am just swamped from the get go.

I took saturday off at the gym, but I cleaned house. I met with mom down at the riverwalk (san antonio) and we walked for a couple of miles before ending at the farmers market to goet fresh produce for the week.

I went to the gym yesterday but still took it easy.

So, the goal this week is to hit the gym 4 out of 5 workdays and really stay on top of my carb intake (I have been craving then recently) ... perhaps nerves about the hubby visit at the end of month.

    Great goals ileana!

    I went for a run friday night about 4 miles, strength saturday, and ran almost 5 miles yesterday in my new new shoes....got another pair - went to Foot Rx - they put me on a treadmill and evaluate what type of shoe is best - after running yesterday I felt better than I ever have - it's amazing what shoes can do and they also put me in a half size bigger.....I guess I forgot to tell you - when I weighed Sat morning - almost 3 more pounds which put me past the 80 pound mark and only 8 pounds to my original goal! I am so happy!!!

    I will be out of town beginning lunch tomorrow til Thursday so I probably won't be here til Friday

    Way to go Chrissy! I knew you could do it! I weighed this morning, and I'm also a happy woman. Four pounds, and I still haven't been exercising due to my hip pain, so it has been more of a struggle for the past month.
    Ileana - when does hubby come home? How exciting!

    Mormim ladies

    HIt my Wii Fit Friday, I enjoy everyminute of those games, I didnt' get any thing dones Saturday or yesterday, ut we went riding on the Harley for almost 10 hours (and yes my backside is feeling it)
    My face is very red today from all the sun yesterday

    I am not feeling good today will maybe go home early. I did not eat or drink enought yesterday and I could feel the pain today. All I want to do right now is sleep I just feel so crapy

    I forgot to weigh myself today but I will try to remember tomorrow.

    Chrissy way to go I knew you would blow past that 80 pounds

    Chrissy: You are truly an inspiration! I know what you are talking about with the shoes! I wear size 9 normally, but I am a full size 10 in my running shoes.

    Mary: I am so sorry about your hip. are you able to put heat /cold on it?
    Hubby will hopefully be home in 4 weeks (still a long way off) for a mid tour visit for about 13 days, then gone again for another 5-6 months...

    Smadag: watch the naping, if you are anything like me, going down for a mid day nap of even 30 minutes absolutely ruines the rest of my day! I can never get over that crappy groggy feeling! Stay on top of your water intake and you'll feel better!

    Sorry about the rambling but I am not fully forming thoughts yet today.
    If things are calm around here later I am thinking of going home early, I just feeli like such crap right now

    smadag - it sounds like you may need some rest - but I agree - drink lots of water!
    Mary - when I first started exercising my hips gave me a fit - i had to sleep flat on my back to keep the pressure off and it was even hard to walk - allow them rest time, hot baths also helped - when they feel better try again - but maybe a little easier

    Normally I can push through being tired and sick, but today I just don't think I have it in me. My back hurts my tushy hurts and I just feel sick. I barley remember the driver to work

    My boss said I can work a half day and go home about noon. I think I will take a muscle relaxer and lay on the couch with my DH

    I have no excuse except laziness and not caring..........:grumble:

    Starting in again today :tongue: DH and I went for a 2 mile walk this morning....have
    my lunch box all packed for the work day........

    Welcome back, Pam!

    What they have decided is my hip problem: Last July, I started receiving injections every 2 weeks in my foot to treat neuromas. They think that this altered my walking pattern enough that my sacroiliac joint slipped out of place. So- I am going to physical therapy twice a week until they get the muscles strong enough to hold it in place. It is working, but slower than I want. I still have pain when standing or walking, but have made the last 3 days with no pain meds. Today, they started me in the gym at PT, so I guess now I am able to exercise some under their direction. Hopefully, this will come to an end soon - I have been dealing with it since August 12th.
