I just have a quick question about my setting for MFP. I have gotten to my goal weight and so now I have been just trying to maintain. I exercise 6 days a week, one rest day. Usually weekends I burn over 600 cals a day, and weekdays between 200-400. My question is I still have my MFP setting on "lose 1/2 lb a week", should I change it to maintain? I have been trying to keep my calories between 1600-1700 everyday, except my rest day where I keep it at 1460. Plus or minus depending on exercise cals but if I change the setting MFP tells me my net cals is around 1700 a day, not including exercise cals. That just seems like alot, is that right? Please help give me some insight and direction! Thanks!

1700 per day doesn't seem too much to maintain. If you are really exercising every day, you are still keeping your muscles up. Muscles burn more calories than fat, so in order to keep from losing or gaining, you can eat more calories.

Then again, I am no expert. :P Just think about Michael Phelps - he eats so much because he exercises so much.
I imagine you may just have to play with it to make sure you are getting enough nutrients and make sure you don't gain or lose.0
