:drinker: Hello everyone,
My name is Rachel, and I am a 25 year old mother of a 3 year old. I live in the Tampa bay area of Florida. I just had my gallbladder removed in January 2012 and since then I have gained 25 lbs. This was right after an 8 month pregnancy where I lost my baby(december). I am surviving, but am struggling to find motivation to do anything involving exercise.
I started at 175 (most I've weighed my entire life, even while pregnant), and hope to get down to 135 which is healthy for me at 5'5, although id be happy at 140 lbs.
For the past year i have been a stay at home mom, but I am hoping to return to work within the next few months. I have been slightly cheating at the exercise portion, because right now unless I'm cleaning or playing with my son I get no exercise. I am so tired and everytime i eat i just feel bloated all the time and ready to take a nap. And no i do not have any type of diabetes although it runs in the family (both kinds.)
I love sports, and wish i could find a tennis, jogging buddy, but no luck yet. So far I've been cutting out all sodas, which i grew up on, and counting calories for the first time in my life. I have never been on a diet, it's so hard. I have sooo much respect for you ladies now who have been counting calories and dieting since I was probably a teenager.
Anyways I am looking for friends that would love to share motivation or just have someone to relate to. I just moved a month ago, would be wonderful if anyone on here lived close by!
