Does anyone else dance for any part of their fitness routine? I typically take 2 belly dance and 2 ballet classes a week. These are actual dance classes, not at a gym.

I do salsa. Have received various calorie estimates, I figure 10 dances counts as 35 mins of exercise roughly, so I count it as 350 calories but probably its more than this since I'm walking around between dances.0

I do!! Dancing is all I have ever known, and is a great addition to my exercise!0

Dancing is a big part of my physical routine. Usually dance about 12 hours per week. Ballroom (Waltz, Foxtrot, Hustle, Salsa, Quickstep, Tango, Swing, Cha Cha, Merengue, Samba). I teach a little too.0

My hour of belly dancing didn’t record as an hour of exercise0

Dancing is an excellent exercise program and if doing ballroom dances, they are much more challenging than other "sports" like fishing and bowling.
