Hi everyone!
I was too nervous to say 'hi' when I first joined MFP 30 days ago. I was scared that I would join and quit. I very proud to say that has not happened. I have logged in 30 days in a row! Since joining MFP I have losted 7 pounds and would like to lose 40 pounds total. What has kept me going is all the amazing people I have met so far. They give me tons of encouragement and support when I need it. If it wasn't for them, I may have given up on this site.
Let me tell you a little about myself....I am 25 years olds. I have a desk job that prevents me from moving around during the day. I graduated from grad school in 2010. When I entered college in 2005 I slowly put on the pounds till I weighed 186. Last year, a cowork of mine was trying to lose baby weight so we motivated each other and decided to run a 1/2 marathon in November 2011. I got down to 172 but gained back 6 pounds since. Then a I saw the 'light' and it hit me that the only person to help me lose weight is ME. For the longest time, I was the person that needed a buddy to workout with. Now I workout out and run by myself . I am feeling great and more motivated than ever.
I am looking for people who are excited to get in shape. Feel free to add me
