Nothing like a little success to make you feel motivated! I have been losing weight at a pretty steady clip for the last few months and I am finally down to a size where I feel lore like a "regular person" than a "fat person" (You know what I mean right?).
For some reason I have never felt so motivated to keep at it. I don't really even feel like overeating because I am just so excited to see myself in that next smaller size and it all just feels so achievable right now!
I guess the transition from "regular person" to "hot person" is just a more fun stage of the game, but I gave gotta say I am LOVING IT right now!

Congratulations on all your success! :flowerforyou: And I know EXACTLY what you mean. You took the words right out of my mouth. Keep it up!0

That's awesome! Keep it up. Remember that when you reach your goal you STILL have to work hard to stay at the size you want0

Great Job!! Can I ask what you did? I tried to sneak and see what your diet looks like, but its not public, so could you just give an idea of what it took to loose?0

It's a great feeling, isn't it? To be in control of your eating, instead of your food controlling you, and to be seeing that scale go down is a fantastic feeling! You've certainly got the right attitude to lose the rest of the weight that you want to! You go girl! :flowerforyou:0 -
MissKim, it is hard for me to give advice since I feel like I am still taking shots in the dark and tweaking things all the time to see what works for me.
I have had good success with eating lots of small meals and remembering to eat before i actually feel that hunger in my stomach. Like keeping your tank 1/2 to 1/4 full all the time. For me, that is the only way I can get to the end of the day on 1300 calories and not feel too deprived. I log my foods before I eat them as often as possible and often find myself going "you know, maybe I DON'T need that piece of cake." Unlike when I log things after the fact and all I can do is say "Boy, I wish I hadn't eaten that piece of cake!"
I try to get as much volume of low-cal fruits and vegetables as I can. It is so good to get those vitamins and keep my stomach full with all that fiber and water contained in fresh foods. Also it satisfies my munching instinct. My new favorite food is snow peas. Sweet and crunchy and you can eat them one after the other and never consume more tham 80 calories even if you try.
I also make all my sandwiches open faced. Half the bread, less carbs, just as satisfying, and usually about 100 calories less.
Also, it really does help to drink a lot of water.
Hope that (kinda) answers your question!0 -
well done!
you're completely right, success definitely equals movtivation. i got past my own mini personal milestone at the weekend and i feel even more motivated to keep up the good work.
