Okay, so I have a Confidence Treadmill and the amount of calories I burn seems ridiculously low to me. I spent 15 minutes on level 7, then I went down to 6.5 for another 10 minutes. Then I went down to level 5 for 10 minutes. Then I walked (level 3.5) for 10 minutes.

I burned about 125 calories. According to MFP I supposedly burned 557 calories...which seems way to high.

I sweat an INSANE amount (but I have overactive sweat glands so meh..)

Basically, I was wondering if there was a more accurate measurement of how many calories you burn from exercise?

Are you inputting your age and weight into the treadmill? Doing that will give you much more accurate results. Your MFP number seems closer to reality, as 35 minutes at 6 mph burns me about 530 calories, which both MFP and the treadmill agree on given I input my age and weight.

No, I haven't actually. Hmm, that probably would help. I didn't even know that option was available to be honest.

    Thank you :)

My bike computer and MFP never agree on the calories I burn. i think I am going to start taking the lower of the two numbers, so I get the best results.
