Here's a fun weight loss survey I came across. Feel free to add your responses...here's mine!

4. Your greatest fears about weight loss.
I have no fears
5. Why do you really want to lose this weight? Are you doing this for you?
I want to lose this weight because I want to be fit/healthy and finally feel confidence in myself and my body no matter the occasion.
6. Do you binge? If so, explain why you think you do.
I used to. I think I have this pretty much under control and know it's emotional eating so if I'm feeling the urge I do something to take my mind off of it like drinking a huge glass of water or going for a walk.
7. Do your family and friends know you’re trying to lose weight? Do they care?
Yes they know. My boyfriend is very supportive and so is my family for the most part, but they do not have healthy eating habits or exercise.
8. Your workout routine.
There's been many, but right now it's a combination of RushFit, running, and Insanity
9. Did people ever make comments about your weight loss in a negative way?
My mother tells me I've lost too much even though to reach my goal I have 30lbs left.
10. What was the hardest thing you gave up during this weight loss?
Alcohol, diet soda, sweets
11. Your favorite weight loss or healthy living blog or website!

3 square meals a day and 3 snacks coming out to about 1900 cals. Some of my favs are Kashi cereal, greek yogurt, fruit, oatmeal with peanut butter/banana, hard boiled eggs, dark chocolate..

HEALTHY no fad diets done by this chic! All eating right and exercise!
14. What’s your UGW? When do you expect to reach it?
130-135lbs hoping by Fall
15. Are you vegan or vegetarian? If so, has this helped you lose weight? If not, would you ever consider turning vegan or vegetarian?
I would never consider turning I was raised on meat and greatly enjoy it

I've tried, but couldn't get myself to do so.

Heavy lifting 2-3x a week, HIIT 1-2x a week, running 35-60 miles a week depending on my mood.

Honestly, the lowest weight I remember me being is 220lbs, and i'm below that now . I guess emotionally eating

No, but I used to. I do have an occasional spike day where I eat what I want, without going to terribly crazy.

Yes, they are very supportive.

Zumba everyday for an hour. Walking tape 3-5 hours a day. Then there's the occasional bike ride, but it's been too hot here lately to ride bikes.

No. But I don't really eat a lot of meat as it is so I could easily become a vegetarian but I could never be a vegan.

About 2 years ago. But something finally clicked this time. I have never lost so much weight before, usually it's only about 10 pounds. I am never going back to how I was before!

I don't have a picture of anyone in particular. Right now, my "thinspiration" is me on my honey moon, but I was still kind of big then. Baby steps!

It won't come off, or I'll look worse somehow
5. Why do you really want to lose this weight? Are you doing this for you?
It started as a journey to lose weight to get pregnant. I was doing it for myself and my future child. But now I've lost the weight needed to get pregnant, but I put off baby-making for another year so I could finish school and lose whatever weight I could

No. I don't binge because food is no longer that important to me. I'm not going to say that I exercise my stress away, but I don't binge my stress away.

Yes they know. My best friend has started joining me. My husband is very supportive.

Tennis for about an hour every night, or dancing for 30 minutes. I just bought resistance bands and hope to add some strength training.
9. Did people ever make comments about your weight loss in a negative way?
No. It's all been positive or nothing at all.
10. What was the hardest thing you gave up during this weight loss?
Sweets at first. I used to bake a cake or pie every week. At first I tried to sustain that ritual and practice self-control, but I ended up dropping the habit all together.

A slice of toast with peanut butter for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch, and then a nice dinner.

Healthy. I've substituted healthy foods whenever possible. I slowed down on carb consumption at the recommendation of my doctor due to PCOS.
14. What’s your UGW? When do you expect to reach it?
If I get pregnant next July, I am hoping to be about 170. My final goal is 130, but getting pregnant would put that off for awhile.

In March the doctor said that if I lost 50 pounds and still wasn't ovulating, she would put me on meds for it. When I dropped about 20 pounds, I started ovulating consistently.

Not really an eating disorder, but maybe an unhealthy aversion to some foods

A few days ago. But before that, it had been over 4 months.

I was 189 the day I got married (at 16 years old). I gained steadily from a cycle of stress and good love

I've only done this when I over-indulged in alcohol and needed to get it out of my system quickly

Pretty okay. Food itself is not a trigger. Social situations are a trigger. I have a cabinet full of delicious food that I don't care to eat at all the time, but if someone offers me food or eats in front of me, I feel pressure to comply

Yes, but I doubt it's going to happen. I'm a pear.

Body Frame: I don't know. I'm curvy, but I'm also way overweight. We'll see as I get closer to my GW.

I'm 5'5" and I like it just fine.
3. A picture of your thinspiration. What features do you like about this person?
I don't really have one, but I wouldn't mind having the body of Marilyn Monroe. She's curvy, not too thin, and not too fat. I don't want to be "skinny", I just want to be able to run several miles and not feel held back in life because of my weight.
4. Your greatest fears about weight loss.
That I'll fail, or I won't like how I look when I reach my GW.
5. Why do you really want to lose this weight? Are you doing this for you?
I have lots of reasons. I just feel like I'm missing out on life because of my weight, and plus my 15 year high school reunion is in two years and I'd like to blow everyone away.
6. Do you binge? If so, explain why you think you do.
This may sound crazy, but no, not really. My reason for being overweight is because I often starved myself and then ate my entire day's worth of calories in one sitting, and didn't exercise. I'm changing that.
7. Do your family and friends know you’re trying to lose weight? Do they care?
Some know. Most don't. I'm kind of keeping it a secret. Those who know are pretty supportive, some more than others. My husband is learning to be supportive. My best friends are all cheering me on every step of the way.

I walk 3 miles 6-7 nights a week, and 5 days a week I'm doing cardio or strength training.

No, not yet.
10. What was the hardest thing you gave up during this weight loss?
I haven't really given up anything. There was nothing wrong with most of the things I was eating before: I ate mostly lean protein, didn't drink soda, ate fruits and veggies, and rarely ate fried foods or sweets. The problem was that when I did eat unhealthy things, I went way overboard. Now I factor them into my daily calories.

12. What do you normally eat?
Three meals a day, 2-3 snacks, lots of water. For breakfast I'll have an egg, turkey bacon, and fruit, or oatmeal with apple, cinnamon, brown sugar, cranberries, and pecans. For lunch, I'll heat leftovers, or have a sandwich. And a fruit or veggie. For dinner, lean protein usually, some kind of starch (like a small baked potato with salsa and sour cream), and a fruit or veggie. Snacks include fruit, almonds, pretzels and hummus, and the occasional cookie.
13. Are you losing weight in a healthy or unhealthy way?
Healthy!
14. What’s your UGW? When do you expect to reach it?
About 140-150. It's probably going to take me about two years.

I've decided many times to lose weight. But I've been working on changing my habits for the last few months, e.g. eating smaller more frequent meals, eating my meals on smaller plates, drinking more water, exercising regularly.

Nope.

Chocolate. And Doritos. Not at the same time, though.

Last week I had a hamburger from McDonald's. I usually have fast food about once a week or so.

Too large. I'm a 22/24 in jeans, a 2X/3X in tops. I'm hoping I won't stay that way.

I've never been thin, ever. I started gaining weight when I was about 6/7. My reasons were many. My parents didn't pay attention to whether or not I was eating right (not their fault! My dad was dying and they were both occupied with that), and there were other things that happened that diminished my desire to be attractive. I started gaining a lot of weight after high school; went from 175 my junior year to over 300 within 13 years. I'm done, I'm reversing this trend!

No.
24. How do you feel about the terms pro-ana/pro-mia?
Disgusted and sad. Pro-anorexia and bulimia? Heck no.
