    I'm a new mom -- I log sex because it's a luxury.

All joking aside, I think it depends on how you have your logs set up.

I log exercise that I consider "deliberate" -- above and beyond what I'd "normally" do in a day (cleaning, etc.) Because we aren't having sex daily (woe is me,) I log it when we do.

Not unless it is vigorous and sustained. Otherwise, just consider it a few bnus calories burned

I think one of the questions you gotta ask yourself is, does having sex get your heart rate up high enough and long enough to have an actual cardio effect on your body?

Best way to test this, wear a HRM one time to see how many calories you do end up burning.

I'd say, if it's significant, log it. ^^

Yes it does. There was another forum where a person posted pictures of their HRM for proof. 60~300 calories

Hahaha - I actually wondered about this too, but was too chicken to post it!

I am divorced now anyway so it is a mute point - I can just post my sex life now as "swinging a hammer" - probably about the same calories

Is there a full moon out? I swear somebody starts this thread from scratch every day!

The most reputable source I've seen says that it's about 85 calories per 30 minutes (so, about equal to yoga or pilates). There are also places that will divide it up by activity, but that just sounds like a mood-killer to me.

I started a thread like this on wank calories. It got locked. Guys, just remember to eat back any lost protein lost on the firing range.
