I've been noticing as of lately; After working out, showering and drinking my protein shake I'll eat my breakfast meal (which is around 7pm ish) take my vitamins AND WITHIN 30 MINUTES I AM READY TO PASS OUT! I'll nap for about an hour then I'm fine to go to work. If I don't nap then I am super tired at work and I'll nap on my lunch break. Should I up my calorie intake? I don't feel like I hold back on myself cause I eat what I want in moderation and I have energy through out the day. Should I eat at a different time? Could it be my medication (I take anti anxiety medication BEFORE BED TIME at 8am)? Do vitamins normally do this to anyone else?? I take a multi vitamin for women, an iron pill (I can get very low very easy) and a vitamin D pill cause I don't get out in the light as often as I would like cause I work thrids. NOTE: If I take the vitamins later at work THE SAME THING HAPPENS! It always seems to be after I take the vitamins...I'm confused

Hmm they don't happen to have melatonin in them do they cause that might do it, aside from that i have never heard of any vitamins that make you sleepy. You might not be getting enough cals in to give your self energy, i personally suggest, you eat your bmr and tdee, but not all on here share my views. I know when i ate below my bmr even i was always tired no matter what i did or ate.0

Well I kinda answered my own question. I work at a hospital and I asked one of the nurses I work with and she said that when eat healthy, excers. regularly and get the right amount of vitamins their body can function perfectly without added vitamins. When things like added protein mixes or pre work out formulas are added to their diets while using those added vitamins on top of those cause give you whats called 'vitamin fatigue' (i know... sounds fake). She said that your body cause almost OD in a way on vitamins and even though they naturally process out of your body, they don't do this right away. They can take hours to go through and while this happening your body and internal organs are almost in a state of shock. This is why some people have stomach problems with added vitamins to a healthy regiment as well (so she says). So you can get sleepy and worn out basically. Then later when your body has leveled its levels out lol you have normal energy your would normally have after taking vitamins.
makes sense I guess0
