How much weight do you have to lose before it starts

to show? And what happens if you constantly go under calorie for the day? It says the body goes into starvation mode, but if you're eating small amounts through out the day (and not eating all at once) then would your body still go into that state? Or would it understand that food was coming at regular intervals and not store fat.

I think people say 20lbs for others to notice.
Your body knows how much food it's getting over a long period of time. It doesn't matter if you eat 10x a day or once a day.
If you constantly go under by too much (1200 calories should be a minimum not a maximum) then you're just setting yourself up for long-term failure.0
