Help please. Daily calories mess up my progress graph!

Hi everyone. I weighed in this morning and have now lost 21lb so fitnesspal suggested I change my calorie intake. I like looking at my progress through the graph tools but now its telling me I have gone over my calories in the past every day but I didnt!(I was on 1630cals now 1570). How do i make it so that the new calorie intake starts from today? Many thanks in advance.

I'm not sure you can. When I changed my calorie intake and macros, it screwed up all my previous entries. Maybe someone who is tech savy will know the answer.

Have you tried customising your goals, maybe?

I dont think you can, I've gone form 1200 to 1400 to 1300 and all my previous entries are messed up.

Annoying but at least you know you didnt go over :-) and you've lost 21lbs so you're doing something right! Keep up the great work and dont worry about the reports so much xxx

    Hi,

As far as I know you can't specify the date that it is effective from. Once it is changed, it applies to all days regardless.

You know that you were within your goals in the past so it's all good. Just because the goal numbers have changed, it doesn't change the amount that you ate. Make a note on your food diary that this was the day you changed it, and what you changed it from, and just carry on.

Yeah this is a pain, you'd think the bods at MFP would work on that so it takes into account your reducing calories as the weight comes off.....:noway:

Thank you. Just had a little look at the goals section but there is nothing to change it from previous dates. Many thanks for replys. Will just have to look at it and get the hump! lol. ;)

I only found the graph tool recently so i was so happy as I love stats and graphs. I'm a bit of a nerd really with things like that.
