Having a baby and nursing takes a huge toll on your body. Your body doesn't just bounce right back. Nursing burns a lot of calories each day to make that milk (actually more than required to sustain pregnancy), so I'm sure your body is still trying to regulate your metabolism. Make sure you're eating enough calories, getting in lots of lean protein, some fats and carbs especially if you are working out. You are six months post-partum. Cut yourself a bit of slack, just start working on exercise and eating right and rest will come!

I just had a baby 3 months ago. I'm finding it very difficult to lose the weight. This is pretty common though and I experienced this when I had my first. Remember that it took you 9 months to get where you are today, so it's probably gonna take another 9 until your body is ready to let go of some of that stored fat.

A little after my first turned 1, I noticed that losing weight got A LOT easier. Actually, it started just falling off like it did pre-pregnancy. As much as a bummer as it is, I'm not expecting to see any major weight loss for at least another 6 months.
