gooooood morning.......
i have already been to the gym this morning. :drinker: another day down for the week tamm.
had a good night at class last night. i am not as uneducated as i thought. we started going through questions and i did pretty good. all the others in the class are younger, so i just figured they would learn this stuff better than me. i got most of the questions right. i have dyslexia so it's a little different and harder for me to learn. i used this as my excuse to not follow my dream of real estate. so now i feel really good about doing it.
doing some cleaning today with my windows open and air off. feels so good outside.
thanks drtamm. i did some thinking of what i had done with the weight loss. so decided to go back to my carb counting. this is what i had done at the beginning. i didn't do anything with my exercise burned calories. i was on a basic 1600-1800 calorie count and carb count.
need to get the sheets changed.

Good morning! We got back from the mountains late yesterday evening. I gained almost a lb while I was gone, but I think it was partly water weight. I saw pictures of myself from this trip that hubby took (he was taking a pic of our daughter & caught me from behind in the background). :noway: It was scary!!! I'm drinking my water & exercising every day this week!

Hello ladies. Hope all are doing well. I am still on the workout wagon. I didnt work out Sunday and had to do my workout at home last night. I hurt or pulled something in my foot. By the end of the day it was killing me. So I did squats, lunges, situps and arm curls, extentions while watching my TV programs. I just dont feel the same though when my workout doesnt involve cardio! So tonight I am going to the gym to do my new favorite machine, Adaptive Motion Trainer. 28 minutes on fat burn , 348 cals burned. Then 100 sit ups. My eating is alright. I could probably change that to be better too. Sorry for the ramble
Its cold and rainy here today. Hard to believe it was 94 a week ago and today its still only 53. Fall has arrived here in Oregon!0 -

Hello ladies! I am definitely on the move again. I didn't weigh in two weeks and now I'm down 4.5 lbs! YAY!!! I'm finally back in the swing of things.
Congrats Amylou for losing with all that school stress. Amy you are doing great congrats.
And all other sixers- up or down in pounds still means you are learning. You will succeed! YAY
Cathy- Never doubt yourself. You are definitely smart. Alot of people struggle learning but it just means you have to study a little more. You are doing great in your class because you are preparing yourself. Congratulations. I'm confident you will do great. YAY to the early workout too! Go girlie!! I'm also proud that you looked at what worked before. I do that from time to time to keep myself moving. I'm glad its working out for you!

Down another 1.8 lbs for the week. I'm at 153.8 lbs with my goal weight only being 153. Maybe my goal wasn't aggressive enough? Honestly, having been plateaued for about a year, remaining within the same 5 lbs range for so long, this weight loss worries me. I'm not going to stress it until I start getting into the lower ranges..... near my goal weight.... but I'm ---
You know what it is? It's the fact that I'm free.
Cathy, was it you who said it before? Maybe Maggie? That stress causes you to hold weight, and now that I've left my husband, I'm finally less stressed and my body is reacting positively. I'm really thinking that might be it.
The biggest change I've seen in me is that food no longer rules my life. Instead, I'm out doing THINGS instead of just meeting with people to EAT. I'm going to football games (I need to post those pics on here) instead of meeting someone at Olive Garden. I'm playing at the park with the kiddo instead of sitting around watching movies. This coming weekend I'm going camping for the first time ever. I'm active and alive!!! I do love my life right now. I still have spots of mourning the possibility that existed in my marriage, but it's dead and gone. I'm moving on and loving living life!!0 -

glad things are going in the right direction for you lauryn. yes, stress can make you hold on to weight. especially in the belly. could be why mine is hanging on, stress of class and the exam.
i have been on the treadmill for 50 mins, done and over with. had to stop for about 10 mins was going good and than at 17 mins in the cable guy is banging on the door wanting to check on the guys work from the install. after he left got back on and took the timer to 50. while reading my notes the whole time.
eating has been right on. sure hope there is a loss on tuesday. just so frustrating even when you think you know why things aren't going your way.
need to get some cleaning done and some more studing done. class test a week for monday.

afternoon all....
i sure don't miss my aunt flo at all.:bigsmile: haven't seen her around in about 10 years.....
just finished reading about the fair houseing laws. will be going over it tonight. last class for the week.
today has been going good so far. having a quick dinner. i am planning on better quicker dinners for next week. they work better when i eat at 4:30, and DH isn't home until later.
shanell is having a procedure today called a Endometrial ablation. she found out she has endometriosis awhile back. doctor said if it works right she won't have periods again. she has had very heavy periods for years now. haven't talked to her yet to see how she is doing. will call later. i know she will be reasting.

Lauryn- Thank you for the picture post. It really made me smile. I know what you mean about selecting the right pounds for our current goals. Plateaus make us doubt our abilities. I know you are proud of yourself for removing the stress that was holding you! YAY for progress. I'm happy you have a more active lifestyle too. I think we all strive for that point in our lives. Camping, I haven't been in years but I know you will have loads of fun. Enjoy

As for me... today I walked 25 mins during my lunch break and then I walked my dog for 30 mins this evening. Who knows if I will actually get around to doing one of the MILLION fitness dvds I own. I need to do better using my resources at home. I hope everyone has a great evening.

Good Morning my fellow Sixers ... It's yet again another dull day here in Niagara. I'm just not going to let anything else get me down. Life gets stressfull sometimes and there's nothing I can do about it. I've decided that I've been making excuses lately to slack off on my healthy lifestyle mission and I'm going to break that cycle starting right this second. So far today (which only really just started) I've been on track so now I just have to stay there. Thank you all for being such a great support system ... you really are the best inspiration.

tamm....if you put those pics side by side you would swear they were two different people. love the new one. what were suppose to exercise? how is your doing?
shanell's procedure was moved to next week, cause she started her period and doc said to have better results she can't be on it. i will pass the well wishes.
i have already been to the gym. i know it was at least an hour. could have been more. forgot to look at the clock when i left. i haven't been wearing my HRM, cause it seems i dwelled on it. the whole point is just getting in some exercise. so seeing if that helps. paid bills, now need to go and get a few things at the store.

howdy ladies....
having a good afternoon. relaxing. i haven't looked at my book at all. i think i needed this break. but, tomorrow i will be cracking the book open again. had some trouble with the financing part in the pretest. i thought i had a bad snack. but, after i looked it up it was within my limits. i had bugles and qucseo (sp) dip. getting ready to put the chicken in the oven. strange having dinner with DH tonight. he says he misses me at night. now he knows how i felt when he worked nights. was going to a coupon class next weekend. but, don't know now. shanell may not want to go. she was going with me.
need to get dinner going.

Lauryn- I love your new picture! So cute with you and your kiddo! She is such a doll. Beautiful just like her MOM. LOL.... I'm glad to be back too. Hi there Sixers ... just want to drop a quick note ... my computer is being wonky ... maybe a virus or something ... my techie friend will be checking it out for me but not 'til next week so not sure when I can get back on. I'm heading out of town for a few days so I'm hoping to have this fixed up after I get back. Honestly ... what ever is going on is making this computer sooooo slow. Please don't count me out if I'm not on for a while ... I'll be back as soon as I can.

maggie....when mine runs slloooowww i unplug my modem and reset it. sometimes it needs an update.
i am finding excuses for my workout today already. i want to go to the goodwill outlet today. but, need to be there when they open, other wise no place to park. so maybe i will shake up my body and treadmill this afternoon.
had cherrios this morning. sure tasted good. will be hitting the books heavy this weekend. our test is a week from monday.

I ate a lot of garbage last night for dinner, overeating. I made myself sick (just the upset tummy). It was good mentally to realize I don't overeat like that anymore (of recent) and that my body doesn't want it. It was a good realization. I saw a 1.4 lbs increase on the scale this morning but due to all the sodium charged food I was eating, I'm not counting that weigh in. I'll wait for Tuesday to weigh in again.
Going camping this weekend. Hoping to eat reasonable. I'm going with this guy I've been seeing. Everyone else there is a friend of his. I hope it goes well. If not...... well, oh well. It will be fine. I leave today at noon to pack up and head out.
I've been missing my ex for a few days now. I'm very morose and moody. I hate feeling like this. I hate him for not loving me. I miss him (the good him, the one that loved me.... not the normal, every day *kitten* who I was married to). Everyone tells me this is normal and a part of the healing process, that I'll move on. I hope so. It hurts.
