I am a soup fanatic, but since starting MFP I have become accutely aware of the amount of sodium in near all soups...even when they are labeled "healthy". anyone have any great soup recipes that are lower in sodium, but high on taste?

My wife makes a really simple chicken soup. I think it's simply cubed chicken breast, low-sodium chicken bullion cubes for flavoring, chopped carrots and celery and anything else you want for veggies, and wheat pasta.
Boil the chicken in the bullion until cooked, add the pasta and veggies, and continue cooking until the pasta is cooked. Serve. Keeps in the fridge for about a week.
Cheap, simple, pretty wholesome, and delicious.0
