When do you work out? (I'm a morning worker-outer!)

I get to the gym about 6 a.m. and usually do a group class. M-W-F, I would do BodyPump or PiYo, then 1/2 hour doing Couch25K. Tu-Th water aerobics and a 1/2 hour of swimming laps. Saturday is yoga and couch to 5K or gardening.

If I don't work out first thing in the morning, I won't do it. I will think of a zillions reasons not to go - I'm tired, I'm hungry, I hate going to bed dirty and I don't want to waste water by taking 2 showers a day...etc etc etc.

So I prepare my breakfast/lunch, set out my workout clothes, and my gym bag, and set the alarm for about 5:30.

    I used to do it in the evening, but last week I started getting up early and doing a 6 AM work out before work and I will never go back. I hate getting up early, and I'm not a morning person but I feel so good all day after having worked out in the morning. I have a lot more energy all day and feel like I'm more mentally sharp.

    Depends on the day because I travel a lot for work. I prefer lifting in the morning and doing some sort of cardio at night. I woke my happy @*s up at 5am to work out today because the heat index is supposed to reach 100 today. YEah, my gym is of course air conditioned, but it's still a tad miserable in there with all the body heat.

    Jad 54 I know what you mean - it gets a little humid in there...
