hollow feeling in arm?

I am unsure what this is, to me it feels like the bone in my upper arm is hollow. It has to be muscular, but what I do not know is should I rest it or push through it? It only hurts in a few positions, such as if I put my hand on my hip or do an undercut punch. But I feel no pain when I do jacks or do bicep curls. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Any ideas?

A doctor, or rest. Or both.

I will mention to Dr at next appt, not bad enough to make a special trip. I know bones are hollow, but usually we don't "feel" it.0
