70 and still going strong

Hi, I'm 70 and about six months ago, I edged over a BMI of 30. I used to be nice and thin, but over the years gain about 10 lbs per year. I had been exercising at a fitness center three times a week, but not enough to reduce my weight. Started walking every day except for two where I use the fitness center for weights and stretching exercises.
Several reasons for making these changes including finding attractive clothes and health. Feeling much better . . . so far lost about 10 pounds. I look forward to interacting with this group!
