You focus on you. If that means that you have to make seperate meals, you do that. If it means that they won't watch the kids while you go to the gym, you look into a gym that has child care.
My husband wasn't really on board with me joining MFP but now that I have been here for awhile and I am taking it seriously, he has become much more supportive. Focus on yourself and hopefully your partner will come around.0 -
Realize YOU are not your Spouse.
DO NOT look to others for support. Support yourself.
What sort of support you want from him/her?
You don't need encouragement, you should never have to be petted and cheered for doing what you feel you should do anyway.
If its a problem with food, simply don't eat what they make or say you aren't going if its a terrible place to eat.
If its an exercise thing, do it without them.
THIS IS ABOUT YOU, NOT THEM.0 -
Ultimatums, They seem to work well.0
