So I love eggs cooked almost anyway. I have them almost everyday for Breakfast. Sometimes I have one for lunch. My question is, how many eggs are ok to have in one day? Would love your opinion on this! Also, no, I do not eat egg whites or substitutes. I eat the whole delicious egg! Thanks guys!

I only allow a max of 2 full eggs a week. Egg whites I can eat as many as I want but eggs I can only have two, because of my history of high cholestrol.

Eggs are not the devil we once thought they were.
Dietary fat turns out to be great.
I go with 2 whole eggs to one egg white when I cook.
Eat as many as your daily limit can sustain. And feel free to research this yourself.
    Eggs are good!:drinker:

I am with you I usually eat the whole thing, egg whites once in a while if I need more protein and I have already reached my fat goal for the day. I sometimes eat as many as 4 or 5 eggs a day. I am no health expert but everything I have read and my Doctor says have at em! The yolk is where all the goodies are, once in a while I will give a yolk to my doberman and my min pin and the just go crazy for them (cooked of course)

I love eggs too. They are my main source of protein - I have two whole eggs every morning. If you're concerned about cholesterol, use egg whites or one egg+one egg white which is what I do sometimes. But keep eating them.

^I do the exact same thing! I'd say I eat 15-20 eggs per week, with the two whole to one white ratio.

Good for you, eggs are awesome and the yolk has so much nutrition it breaks my heart to see people using egg whites only. As long as you stay under your calorie goal I think you'll be fine. I eat a lot of eggs since we raise chickens. I find if I don't eat eggs for breakfast I'm hungrier all day and more likely to binge.

I have about 2 whole eggs every day to every other day (depending on the week). I read somewhere that without the yolk, your body cannot properly process the protein in the whites, so if you are only eating the whites you aren't getting as much protein as you think you are. Has anyone else read this? I'll try to find the site.

I have 2 eggs for breakfast every day - usually a hard boiled egg for a snack - and when I run out of food or I need a quick dinner 2 more eggs! I absolutely could live off of them.

Since you are eating the whole egg, I think 3 is max, as it is HEAVY in fats and cholesterol.

You could do what I did for a while... 2 egg whites + 1 whole egg. Then you can have more!

I love me a 3-4 egg omelet for breakfast most days of the week. I go through about 2 dozen a week

I usually have 3 whole eggs a day. Today was an exception, we only had two eggs left. My brother used two egg yolks last night and kept the 2 egg whites in a container in the fridge, so I used those with the two eggs, but usually 3 whole eggs and whatever egg whites are left over from someone else.

I love eggs! I've been eating them a lot more since I started working in the warehouse. They fill me up in the morning and keep me going til lunch. :)

I read one a day is okay for you, or 7 over the course of a week. Great protein, good fats, not as bad on the cholesterol as previously thought.

I average about 3 eggs a day, plus bacon. Can't have eggs without bacon...
