Scales?

Well, I'm on a budget so I can't afford a big fancy one, and I don't want all the extra stuff. I just need something that can tell me how much i weight!
I currently have an old scale I bought second hand a while back, just one of those scales with the needle. I'm thinking I need a new one though, because I just noticed that this one seems bent and beaten up a bit!
So, any recommendation on what I should get?
They have a digital one at Wal-mart for 15$, but I've never used a digital scale and I'm not sure what is more accurate.
Any advice?

Scales are tricky. My advice: buy a digital scale that gives you either every 2 tenths or every tenth of a pound. those little bits help boost your confidence!
the important thing is to weigh yourself on the SAME scale. As long as you weigh yourself on the same scale, almost any decent scale should do the trick of showing you that you are losing weight. Scales aren't always calibrated the same, so there can be slight differences in weight from scale to scale, that's why consistency on the same scale is a good thing.
I say buy the one from walmart if it fits the bill. I bought mine off amazon 4 years ago for like $30, and it still works great. it's a healthometer. more or less this one: http://www.amazon.com/Health-meter-HDM753DQN-95-Weight-Tracking/dp/B002ZJWZTI/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1342547327&sr=8-9&keywords=healthometer+digital+scale0 -

Thanks!
I plan on keeping my old scale for a 'just in case' scenario, but I only every really use on scale as I only have one. I've been looking around and wal-mart has a couple in my price range, but they all have the same features so I figure I'll just get the cheaper one0 -
I agree, using the same scale each weigh in is the trick. i bought a cheap scale from Kohls and it works just fine and it seams accurate with the gym (within a pound or 2) But the most important thing is if you use the same one you know when your lose!0
