Kitosis???

Has anybody tried a ketosis diet to lose weight??

What can you tell me about it??

    Ketosis or a Ketogenic diet. Eating less than about 35g of carbs per day and fuelling the brain etc on ketones rather than glucose.

    Suppresses hunger, works for me.

    Recently, I cut out all bread, pasta, rice and cut down on fruit and my goal is to keep my carbs under 100g but my carbs naturally fall around 50g - 75g with the restriction in place and I don't have to worry about it.

    I've been looking into ketogenic diets but I'm not convinced I would get any benefit from a diet even lower in carbs than what I'm doing now. Hopefully someone who's actually doing the diet will be a long to help you out but when looking into these types of diets this is the site I used:

    Yeah, it works wonders. I did the famous Atkins Diet and lost a great deal of weight. Cutting out carbs def helps in dropping pounds. It's actually not that difficult to do but your fat intake does become higher....so not sure how healthy I'd consider that either. One way I noticed when I hit the ketosis stage was bad breath....it's true. I didn't believe it until I exprienced it. Luckily back then I could only taste it and my husband didn't notice. LOL Good luck!!
