Help! My abs are killing me!!!

I did Zumba toning class on Friday and weight training (worked abs) on Sunday. My abs are so sore I can barely get myself up out of a chair without cringing. I am still trying to "work through the pain" but, feel like I can't do as much with the soreness still there. Any suggestions on how to get that soreness to go away. I am trying to do some stretches and continue my routines but, the soreness makes me want to lay off for a few days...which I don't want to do.
Any suggestions???

Lots and lots of water and advil will help, but you need the water to help repair the muscles!!

Keep moving, slowly if you need to. If you let the muscles rest completely (as in laying like an invalid) then it takes longer for the soreness to go away. Stretch a little, wiggle your middle now and then every hour just to wake it up, and like consumone said, tons of water and an NSAID (anti-inflammatory) will help. Ibuprofen or the like.0

Try doing some crunches. Maybe some yoga.

Epsom salts in a hot bath helps. And yes drink water and do stretches and take Advil.
Do you eat protein after a good work out? Especially if it's weight lifting or targeted muscle work? Since I started having a protein bar after I work out, I find I have less soreness.0 -
Shaycat: I probably wouldn't have if it weren't for my competative nature...lol. Taking the class makes me feel like if the skinny 100 lb girl can do that...nothings gonna stop me (except now, my abs are screaming "you idiot"...haha)!0
