Hello all. Just wanted to share a personal accomplishment. Stuff like this never happens to me. I was just selected as one of the winners for the June Beachbody Challenge Contest for my age group. So grateful for everyone who supported me through this journey. Thank you all who gave me that extra shove when I needed it. Voting for the quarterly challenge starts tomorrow. It would be great to get help from my MFP folks to help me get to the next level. But my journey continues as I will be working harder for more results. I'll be providing a link tomorrow once it's available. Thanks again for the support.

Thanks! I did Power 90 then jumped into P90X. So it was about 6 months. But you can achieve a lot in 90 days. I just wasn't strong enough to do P90X on my first attempt. Power 90 helped me prepare for it.0 -

I want to say CONGRATULATIONS as that is SOO wonderful!!! And I am dying of curiousity... I have a Coach sort of, but what I wonder is if I have 100 lbs to lose, should I wait until the very end to post any results (probably 3, 3 month rounds of p90x or insanity)?? Does that make a difference!!
Congrats to you... I see you said something about voting. I will check it out tomorrow and definitely vote for you!0 -

Well done! Did you lose 70lbs in 6 months? Did you go low on calories?
Thank you very much! I did lose about 73 lbs in 6 months with Power 90 and P90X. I was on a calorie deficit but not to exceed a 2 lbs weight loss. I did have some surprises where I lost more on certain weeks. At first I was on a 1000 cal deficit but once I noticed it in my energy levels it ranged from a 500-750 calorie deficit. It got to the point where I was only able to stick to a deficit with a 1 lb weight loss every week. But once I reached my goal bf%, I was able to eat maintenance calories. I'm now doing Body Beast and it's nothing compared to what I'm eating now. lol Right now I'm consuming about 2800-2900 calories to build mass.0 -
