So I went there with my mom to eat today. I got a 9oz salmon, two sides of broccoli (I estimate about 3 cups) and specifically told them no oils, butters. It came out great. However, on their website they said 2 servings of broccoli equals to 280 calories?!
I really don't see how plain broccoli would be able to be that much.
Should I just put in generic salmon? It was just grilled with spice on it, no oils or butter.

Thanks guys.

  • Thier 2 servings of broccoli likely included the butter they normally add. If you ate it plain, just enter broccoli as you do at home. I'd also just use the generic salmon since you told them no oils or butter on anything.

WTG, great choices for eating out!

Thanks! It was hard to resist those yeast rolls, but it gets easier as time goes on! =D

Isn't it a great feeling to know that food doesn't control you? I am still struggling with my addiction to cheeseburgers, but I am working on it

I went to Olive Garden the other day and only had 1/2 a breadstick; I used to eat like 3 without blinking. Way to go on resisting the temptation!! :drinker:

I worked at Olive Garden for 1 1/2 years. This was before I knew anything about food and fitness. (And when I gained 20 lbs.) I munched on bread and alfredo sauce all day long!
