    I've tried it the past and not been keen on it in salads - something about the small size and the texture, and it doesn't seem to taste of much.

    So recently I've been trying it hot, and it's better - I had kedgeree with (quinoa, smoked cod, eggs, and curry spices) the other day, and currently cooking are portabello mushrooms stuffed with crabmeat, quinoa, and herbs, with a little gruyere sprinkled on top. They look and smell delicious, and work out very low cal for a big meal - but I can't give a verdict till I've scoffed them!

    Sauté garlic and onion, Use stock instead of water pour into pot with the onion and garlic, add quinoa, chop up a pile of kale or spinach add to the liquid yummmm

    Sally, those stuffed mushrooms sound amazing! Would you mind sharing how you prepared them? Cooking temp/time and such? Thanks!
