Help!

okay, so now uni is over until september i'll be spending a lot more time at home looking after family. i'm worried this will ruin my weight loss as i wont be out and about as much. do you reckon it will have a big effect? i'll still be doing my cardio in the evenings but i just wont really be out much during the day :(

  • It's okay, don't panic! I think you will be fine as long as you try to stick as close to your plan as you can. Remember, even cleaning the house can burn some calories! Do the best you can and don't stress over it. I'm sure you will be just fine.

I would just include more exercise if that's what you're worried about. Whatever you burn now, aim to burn that at home too. Is there a reason being at home will restrict your ability to exercise?

no not at all, i will still excersize, i just mean my general activity level. where as on a normal day i'd be walking to and from uni, and around, maybe go into town etc. here at home, i wont be doing that. i'll just be at home, but still doing the same amount of cardio. i'm just not too sure on wether the general day to day calorie burn (or lack of) will make a big difference.

Sounds like your activity level is going to decrease. I suggest uyou chjange your activity level on your MFP setting. That will adjust your daily calorie goal.

take the family for walks in the evening when it gets cool. You may not be able to power walk with family with you but your activity level will be good and you will feel like you have made headway in your outdoor activity :)
