Platue or Body recompisition???

Ok I started weight training along with my cardio...to firm up...I have about 20 Lbs to go before I reasess my goals...Lost 60 so far. My weight loss came to a screaching halt. I dont really understand this body recompisition thing. I have read that it is very difficult to build muscle as a woman...hell its difficult for men and they have all this testosterone... So how is it that people say i'm building muscle, the scale is not moving but I'm still working hard and eating well. Which is it people...I'm building muscle or I'm not building muscle...or is it simply a platue. Need some answers..Please??

    Neither - it's probably water retention, especially if you only recently began weight training. Keep plugging forward. It evens out in the end.
