I don't drink green tea, but my energy was low. Turns out I have a vitamin D deficiency and the doc put me on 4,000 units a day and also suggested I take Green Tea extract. This has certainly helped me for sure. I know I'm feeling better and have more energy. But other than that, i don't know....

It's delicious...outside of that my grandma said to drink it so I do LOL. If you find some LMK.
  • It helps me with water retention like nobody's business.

Green tea is an excellent natural detoxifier. I have seen several studies that show it aids in speeding up metabolism and boosting fat/calorie burning. I have come to love the taste of unsweetened green tea...hot in the winter and ice cold in the summer...it is the best drink and the Chinese whose native diet has been hailed for promoting superior health and longevity...drink it morning, noon and night.

There is also a lot of evidence that consuming 4~6 cups of cafeinated green tea daily reduces the risk of cancer, heart disease, dementia, abnormal clotting, and stroke. It has mild blood thinning properties so just keep that in mind if you have issues with that.
