Just what I needed!

I have been on here since last summer. I started off at 150lbs (my "normal weight was 130-135) I am now 143lbs. With "only" a 7lbs weightloss I was starting to feel like maybe this was just my new adult weight and I should give up on my goal of 130-135. WELL, I just ran a report on my progress over the last year and I found I have lost 2.5 inches from my waist and 2 inches from my hips :) I have found my motivation and I am recommiting myself to eating better and to keep working out.

Congratulations! I have actually gained weight in the last month or so, but since my clothes are continuing to become looser I definitely don't worry too much about it. I'm noticing new muscles popping up (literally... just found a new bump today on my forearms that is reeeally sore), so it's easy to tell the source of the gain.

It's kind of hard at first to adjust to wanting something less quantifiable than weight loss because it's so much easier to say "I've lost 50 pounds!' than "I am feeling more confident in my body!" when people ask how you're doing, but it's more worthwhile and rewarding.

    Good work. :)
