Retyping or searching My Common fooods....

I have an issue with MFP (web) that's driving me nuts. Each meal I create is easy enough to find under "My Meals". But each food item is a hit or miss proposition. example: Pudding. There are soooo many different pudding variants - brands, flavors, sugar-free etc., that each time I "Add Food" it takes you to the page that allows you to either search or select a from the list that populates automatically. Using the "Search" leads to so many variants of the entry that it is almost impossible to locate the exact item I use regularly. Looking through the "favorites" that shows up beneath the search bar, is in no particular order... alphabetically, food group or any organization that I can determine. I know you can use the tabs i.e., Most Recent, Most Used, My Meals, My Foods & Recipes.

So apparently the list that populates is based on the program' choices. Is there a way to either edit, create or organize the list that shows up as "add your favorite" ? It appears that once an item has made the list, it stays on the list, and as we all know any food bought in a store changes it's package size, name or other significant info very often.

The best option I have found is using the "add your favorite" and making sure I select "All Meals". This populates with a very long list in no particular order. Boiled down, I guess the heart of my issue is that I can NOT organize, delete items or change that list in any way. UNLESS some of my fellow users has found a way???? Anyone? Anyone?.... Ferris?
