Being an overweight person most of my life and going through all the diets, diet pills, looking at bariatric surgery, and starving I really do have a better understanding of healthy living. The FDA approved 2 diet drugs the past couple months which is supposed to help people lose weight. Ok - did we not learn enough from the phen/phen drug? PEOPLE!!!! The easiest way to lose weight is calories in vs calories out. I don't understand why we are creating pills to fix the problem when the problem is us. There will never be a magic pill to make you lose weight. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to better your lifestyle. GAH. We need to start investing money in teaching our youngsters how to live healthy not to depend on a quick/easy fix. I dunno - just my rant for the day.

I saw that last night and thought ... great another way to make money.

Im not going to judge a person for taking a pill, thats between them and their doctor. But the fact is you cant just take a pill and "fix" a problem! It really has to be a lifestyle change. I hope to God these pills are a hell of alot saver then the stuff they spit out in the 90's!
