Insanity first thing in the morning?

I usually run or do some strength training before work, and then do Insanity after work. But it feels like it takes up so much additional time when I do it that way. I get home between 6-6:30pm, drink a berry smoothie because I'm hungry by then (I do have a healthy snack mid-afternoon), wait 30ish minutes, then get down to business. So.... I'm not done until 7:30 or 8pm. Bleh.
So I'd like to flip things, and do Insanity when I get up. But... will I have the energy? Does anybody roll out of bed and do Insanity? If so, how do you feel? (Yes, I could just try it, but I'd hate to start the day off feeling really crappy if I can avoid it.)
Thanks.

I usually do insanity in the evenings due to work but on my days off I prefer to do it in the morning and believe it or not I feel that I have more energy throughout the day doing that way, especially after a nice shower!0

i prefer to do insanity in the morning rather than the evening. i feel like i push harder
in the morning due to more energy and it gives me more energy throughout the day.
good luck!0 -
Yes I do insanity at 5am when I first get up, that way I have the evening to relax with my hubby. I hate it taking up time in the evenings0

I do it first thing in the morning. I always dread working out when I come home in the afternoon, morning is definitely a better time for me.0

I've done it in the morning for a while. The warmup sucks but after it's no big deal.0

I've been thinking of doing insanity (the only thing sadly that's keeping me from getting it is the cost lol) and if/when I get it, I'll be doing it in the morning. I always do something before work (bike, jog, run) and for me, it's just easier. Sometimes I do something after too but by then, like for you, it's late and sometimes I have to stay late, this way I know I get it done. What if you did it Saturday morning to see how you feel? Granted, you might not wake up as early but you'd still get a general idea of how your body feels and reacts to doing it right after waking up0
