Ate bad food on way home

Hi, everyone. I've been eating so well but I was just starving on the way home and stopped at Barnes and Noble for a butter laden quiche and now I feel awful, both psychologically and emotionally. Because I really am addicted to food my first impulse was to just keep on eating, i.e., to binge. But instead I thought I'd STOP myself and write a little note to you all.

I'm still slightly under my calories for the day and plan to have a nice seltzer with juice or a piece of fruit. And go for a swim.

Easy to fall off the wagon, that's for sure. But I'm not going to throw away what I've done in the last month.

Like everyone else will probably tell you, it's a process. Definitely don't let one choice get you down.
Important points you noted; you were still under your calorie budget, you stopped yourself from binge eating and went to a support tool, and you that planned to exercise afterwards/later anyhow.

I'm reading that as progress, good stuff.

There's really no such thing as "bad" food or "good" food. Food is food. It's your choices that are better or worse.

You are still meeting your calorie goal, you stopped yourself from making that choice worse by bingeing & you have made a better choice to add in a bit of exercise.

Sounds like you did very good!
