Putting in Strength Training...

I was curious... does it really matter if we put in on MFP what strength training we do? It doesn't show us how many "calories we burned" or anything like that. Is it just for us to see how far we've come? I was just wondering if anyone puts their information in. Thanks!

Yes, I put in my strength training exercises. The total minutes each day are entered in the cardiovascular section using the "strength ttraining" category in the exercise database and the actual exercises themselves are entered in the strength training section. That way the exercise minutes and calories burned show up in my reports and daily diary. The actual exercises help me follow with muscle groups I am exercising each week. I try to vary what I do somewhat, especially if I'm feeling any soreness in a group. I then give that group a rest for awhile.0

I don't put mine in. I track my exercise with my coach in a spreadsheet so putting them in here is just extra work.
I do put in the calories burned through the "cardio" section.0 -
I just go to cardiovascular activities, and input strength training and enter the calories burned from my HR monitor.0
