Is it all in my head?

I'm only on about Day 10 or 11 of this, but so far have lost 2.3kg. I've been eating a lot better, and exercising a lot more over this short time. I think that I look better and that it is a noticeable change - stomach appears flatter, legs look a little better, etc. But this morning when I checked my measurements, they were all effectively the same except 3cm loss around my hips.

Are the changes I think I'm seeing just my excitement about losing 2.3kg??

I'm really keen to drop 2 sizes so I'm worried about not losing size! Any advice??

Eating right and drinking enough water will make your body feel much better, removing bloating which helps with the flattened look of your stomach, and the water intake will help your skin look smoother/healthier/younger (in some cases). What changes you are seeing are not imagined, they are real. However it may take a bit longer to see a difference in your measurements. I've found many threads suggesting only measuring once a month. Which in my opinion makes sense because your body is going through a lot of changes and may bloat or feel smaller depending on when you measure and what you eat. Keep the excitement of your lose and stay motivated. Don't worry about not losing a size, as long as you are doing what you can to eat right and exercise then it will happen in it's own time.
