Intermitent Fasting during Ramadan

Ramadan starts tomorrow and since I live in a Muslim country I won't be allowed to eat or drink in my workplace. So rather than binge at home before and after work, like I have done the last couple of years , I thought I might try to actually fast with everyone else.

I've heard this term intermitent fasting flying around the forum from now to then. Can anyone give me advice on this please? In the 8 hours 'eating period", how many meals do you eat? Do you eat all of your daily calories in that period? When do you exercise? Can I still drink my coffee in the morning? Anything else I should consider?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not an expert, but I've been doing a bit of research recently so....

I know there are a lot of different 'styles' of IF eating. A lot of people follow this site: http://www.leangains.com/

During the fasting period you can drink a morning coffee, as long as it doesn't have more than a splash of milk in it. No sugar.

Some people eat all of their calories in 2 meals in their 'feeding' period, some eat lots of little meals, some eat one huge meal.

Check out that website, I'm sure you'll get loads of info from there.
