When you go to the gym and do some ab machines, leg machines, arm machines, etc, what do you call that on here? I've been calling it weight training, but is it supposed to be circuit training? Ug!

Circuit training generally refers to doing the workout without rest. So if you used the ab machine, then immediately got on the press, followed by arms, then shoulders, etc. it would be a circuit. The only time not lifting should be the time spent switching stations. Maybe 15 to 30 secs or so.
If you did a set of abs, then waited a min or two to recover, followed by more abs, more recovery, then final set of abs and repeat process on press machine, then log as strength training.
What equipment you use doesn't really matter (do you hear me, kettlebell people) as much as the speed and intensity at which you perform the exercises. The circuit keeps your heart rate up so when you log it gives you a higher burn rate.0
