Hi all,
On week 2 of P90x and been completeing the workouts ok. This week however I am feeling what can only be described as 'being on the edge of a sugar crash' but not amount of food seems to be shifting this feeling.
On Monday i did make the mistake of not eating close enough to my workout time so got the major case of the shakes and had to pause the workout. but been good with it since but still feel 'on edge'
Wondering if any of you have had a similar experience and perhaps can recommend what I may be lacking in my diet or maybe i just need to eat more?
(btw currently eating 1800-1900 cals a day. 1800 being the recommended amount for me on p90x but always slip over a tad)
Thanks

If you haven't already, find out your BMR and set your calories to that amount, but add a deficit to that either 250 for 0.5lb loss a week or 500 calories for 1lb loss a week. Manually log your workouts to get an accurate reading of how much you are burning and how much you are supposed to be eating.
Depending on when you are doing your workouts might affect your performance. I feel that I do terrible workouts if I do it in the morning before eating because I haven't got much energy.
I went for a job yesterday evening, I ate a good snack like 30 to 40 minutes before hand and it was a mixture of carbs, fat and protein. I also had some water as well. I managed to job the whole way without stopping and I usually have trouble doing that when jogging in the morning.
So once you find out your BMR, set a deficit, manually log exercise and eat back, you will most likely see results. If not, you might have to change up your macros.0
