NSV - My first but hopefully not last

I have been doing MFP for about 4 months and have lost 31lbs so far. I was getting frustrated because my clothes are fitting better but my weight isn't changing. Wednesday I had to go to a going away party for my son's old hockey coach at a Yacht Club and I was just dreading it. This is a group of very nice people overall with a few snobbes thrown in but they are very active, fit, well off people. I just never really felt comfortable around them, with a few exceptions. So after worring about it for most of the day, I got changed into my capris and a nice tee shirt, grabbed DS and went. When I got there there was a small group already there, all of the nice people I wanted to see were there, none of the ones who snubbed me most of the season. I walked around talking to different groups and was told by several people they didn't recognise me and I looked great. I felt so good after that I was able to relax and enjoy myself. It was nice that people I havn't seen in 4-5 months could tell a difference because I can't really see it. I know I am wearing smaller clothes and my weight has gone down, I only see how far I have to go, not that I am 1/3 of the way there and I have made changes for the better. I am definitely my own worst critic.
