holiday help

any tips on how to stick to my routine the best i can on holiday! i'm going to greece for two weeks and i'm slightly worried as i wont have my excersize bike or be able to keep track of my calories efficently :(
swimming and walking is all i can think to do really, suggestions would be appreciated!

    Sit ups, push ups and lunges!! And yeah, tracking calories on vacation is a pain, but if you try to stick to things made with whole foods, eat lots of fruits and veggies, and don't drink excessively, you should be ok!! Enjoy your vacation and good luck :)

    *edit* Also, look into renting an actual bike! You might even be able to find a bike tour to take part in.

    Every time I've gone to Europe, I've spent all day, every day walking around while sightseeing, and those calories burned really add up!

    If you need some extra calorie burn, go out dancing... but don't drink too much. ;-)
  • Do you plan on going out dancing? that's a sure fire way to keep the exercise going!! Just dance your heart out for as long as you can stand it and that should balance out anything bad you eat (not based on fact, this just an opinion!).

    Swimming and walking are great cardio workouts! Use the stairs instead of elevators whenever possible. Also, if you are staying in a hotel with a gym - use it! As far as eating, enjoy yourself while trying to stick with proper portions. Over indulging is the real killer when you are traveling. Above all...Have a great time!

    thanks guys! i wont be drinking much at all really it's with family so it's alot easier to avoid the alcohol haha :)
